Dylan Dog 161 - The God

and Screenplay: Pasquale Ruju

Drawings: Daniel Billard

Synopsis: Dylan and Groucho arrive in the coastal village of Bradwell invited to attend the inauguration of a water park ("Neptuneland") by the master Leduc and her daughter Charlotte. Some insiders are killed by two assassins and a train load of poisons throughout Europe to bring radioactive waste deep in Alaska. Meanwhile, two shady characters are received on the ship Le Duc: Admiral Heine (the main funder of Neptuneland) and Mr. Colosmith. In the course of the story we discover that in reality Heine has agreed to finance the construction of the marine park to use a cave under the sea to dump the toxic waste without the knowledge of the world and with the complicity of European governments. Dylan and Charlotte are warned of this crime by a mysterious e-mail arrived at the girl and now start to investigate ...

Comment: bell'albo. Pleasant and the current issue now goes back even to 2000. Obviously the core of the whole affair is the safeguard of the sea and nature as well as a sacrosanct critical to all aquariums and zoos in the world. Too often we tend to consider these places as some nice parks where the animals live in complete safety, pride in the fact that in reality are reduced to living in cramped and dirty, far away from their natural habitat. Put there to be admired and fed by paying a ticket. This issue of Dylan Dog is not rhetorical but true. It 's hard to think that there should be a comic book to denounce situations which would be granted to the media. Turning to the technical side of the register, I can only applaud both the screenplay Ruju that the designs of billiards. Both of them are more credible and well made, especially the artistic part is able to communicate in a very effective anxiety and strongly rhythmic pace of each other. In short, a book that has nothing supernatural, but that has all the credentials to be considered pretty good.
